Welcome to Whatcom County Code Enforcement, a function of Administration for all three divisions within Planning and Development Services (PDS): Building Services, Natural Resources, and Planning.
The Code Enforcement office investigates building and land use code violations in unincorporated Whatcom County. Our mission is to protect public health, safety, welfare and the environment. Our office conducts proactive enforcement, investigates citizen complaints, and maintains cooperative efforts with local, State, and Federal agencies.
