The Planning Commission meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m., usually at the Northwest Annex Conference Room, 5280 Northwest Drive, Bellingham. All meetings are open to the public and are recorded. (Please note meetings may be scheduled for other dates, times or locations. Check the meeting schedule for updated information.)
At the beginning of the hearing staff will present their findings and recommendations. After the Planning Commission has clarified any issues the meeting will be opened to the public. If you plan to speak at the hearing please sign in upon arrival. When it is your turn to speak please state your name and county of residence. Testimony is limited to three minutes per person. If you will be giving the Planning Commission written testimony it is important to give the Coordinator a copy so it can be entered in the public record. This will be the only opportunity for the public to speak. After the public hearing is closed no comments will be allowed from the audience.
If you are unable to attend the hearing you can submit your written comments by mail, email or fax. We request that you submit your comments at least 48 hours in advance of the hearing so they can be reviewed by the Commissioners.
