The Current Planning Section processes applications to manage land development for upcoming projects in conjunction with federal, state, and county regulations as they relate to the physical and economic health of our county.
Tasks include zoning verification and administration of the Whatcom County Zoning Ordinance (Title 20) and the Whatcom County Land Division Ordinance (Title 21) and other related actions affecting land division.
Planning & Development Services is open 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday Subdivision Administrators are available for general inquiries, application submittals and application correspondence.
